Helberg and Nuss Auctions and Realty was established in 1991, in Gering, Nebraska, by Don Helberg and Mike Nuss. As of the first of 2024, Mike has retired from the Real Estate business. He will continue to do contract Auctioneer work at cattle sales, and has agreed to help Don should a farm machinery auction, or other type of auction be listed.
Don will operate from home office as Helberg and Nuss Auctions & Realty, LLC. He anticipates that most of his work will involve Listing and Selling Farm and Ranch Real Estate. Contact phone numbers will remain the same at 436-4056, or 631-0527.
The recent changes are part of "life going on" for Mike and Don. The both feel they have something to offer the area, and are very appreciative of the friendships, and business relationships developed over the years. The farm machinery auction business has changed with the success of online sales. But, we still wanted to offer the "Live, In Person, On Site" auction option for those that would choose to use it. The On Site Auctions can still have bidding On Line through hookup to Proxibid, or another platform.
